Ah, strip poker. What better way to undress the object of your desire or make a social evening take an interesting turn. However most people don’t really know how to go about organizing a game of strip poker so they crash and burn, but that won’t happen to you thanks to this guide.
Things you need:
- a table
- chips
- a deck of cards
- some cloths on your body (obviously)
- drinks (optional, but they help)
First of all make sure everybody knows the rules of the game you’re playing. Arguing over rules can be a big mood killer. After everyone is familiar with the rules, distribute the chips. You can set your blind structure and stacks so that they fit your desired undressing speed.
The way the game plays is the same as a normal cash game, with one big difference… when someone loses all his/her chips he/she buys back in with an article of clothing instead of cash. It’s as simple as that.
One quick tip. When you’re deciding on starting stacks and blinds make sure that the game doesn’t get so deep after just a few socks and shirts that it’s impossible to strip anyone, but also don’t make it so that everyone strips completly after 5 hands.
Special rules
You can set all kinds of special rules. I’ll give you a few examples, but the rest is up to you:
- Anyone that wins with 72 gets back one item of clothing
- Anyone that loses at showdown has to remove one item of clothing
- Anyone that wins a hand at showdown can make another player take off an item of clothing
Use your imagination!
Quicky
If you are in a real hurry (probably playing head up huh…) there is an ultra fast version of strip poker. Just use your clothes as chips and if you’re not an Eskimo you should be finished in about one hand.
Play safe!
